Japanese Anemone

There were Japanese anemones (and lily of the valley) in my grandmother's garden so they are very evocative for me. Sadly, I've tried to grow each of then five or six times in my present garden with no success - can't get them to take. This is therefore a quick iPhone shot at the roadside.
