Pancakes week

Now in Russia is a pencake week.

On this week we (especially on the weekend) making pancakes with different tasty fillings like eggs, sour cream, caviar or jam. The pancake is symbolize sun or a new life. Another tradition, on this day, is a tradition to burn a puppet of "winter" it called "Maslennica". This puppet makes from something needless materials: old cloths, broom and wadding.

I have an old receipt from my granny how-to make pancakes and yes ... today I was near stove too.
