Paul Mitchell Branches Out
You may use his hair products, or drink his lovely Patron Tequila, but have you ever taken your dog to a John Paul Mitchell Pet salon?
I kid you not kiddies!
John Paul Pet Salon
I was warned that I should expect to spend a considerable amount of money. Of course I asked "Well, how much is considerable?"
"Oh, about $65 for each dog."
Ha! Obviously told to me by someone who does not know what people spend on their pets in West Los Angeles, where I had a mobile grooming service come to my building and charge $95 per (plus tip).
This place is beautiful. And, should I choose, there is a bar area where I can sit with my laptop, and watch them work on the dogs. There is a play area for the dogs to chill out between stages so they don't stress out, etc.
I didn't stay. I went home and took a well deserved nap. I am going to stay and watch next time. It's one hell of an operation. And, the dogs look great. Not to mention, i saved money!
Let me add that while I loved our groomer in Playa Vista, the last time they were groomed they sent a different groomer. I'm not sure he cut their hair at all. Thus, there was going to be "words". Also, John Paul gives a 10% discount for having two dogs. I like buying in bulk!
So here are my boys yet again: Denny Crane (google that) is the gray smaller guy and Truman Capote (because he wrote Breakfast at Tiffany's)is the larger. They are most likely not only the most adorable, but the biggest Shih Tzus you'll ever see. I grow my babies big!
