Moon over Bethany Beach

I am once again at the beach. This time I am on the Eastern Shore, in Bethany Beach, Delaware for my annual getaway with 3 of my girlfriends. One of my friends has a beautiful cottage just a stones throw from the beach and dunes, and we have been coming down here the weekend after Labor Day for many years.

Tonight I thought I would try some long exposures. The darn moon would not hold still, and the balmy breezes kept moving the sea oats. There were light clouds moving pretty quickly through the sky causing the streaks and there are even a few star trails. Overall, it was a good learning experience, yielding results better than I expected.
