Shiny and New

Today, my new microwave oven arrived. I've lost count of how many of these I've gone through in my time. I don't seem to take care of them and the painted interior always end up chipped and discoloured. But, for the first time, I've gone for a stainless steel interior and hope this lasts longer.

I was just going to take a photograph of it sitting on the counter when I wondered what it would look like if I put my camera inside and closed the door as far as I could before taking the picture. The shots with the flash weren't all that exciting so I tried without flash.

I'm pretty pleased with this result. I love all the colours and shapes and the shininess of the new, unblemished stainless steel.

I think this is one of my favourite blips.
