A stormy sea was bubbling onto the beach this evening. The spume surprisingly bringing the only colour to this monochrome day.

Earlier I had been in the newsagents to monitor The Daily Record's popularity carrying a Yes message after yesterday's No. My unscientific analysis suggested a very similar sales figure. I had expected this print run to have sold out.

I was asked yesterday by GuernseyNix if I would reveal my voting intention. I will vote in person a week on Thursday and will declare my decision in my blip on Referendum Day. Until then, I am trying to maintain an impartial commentary on the build up to the most significant vote I believe all of us, privileged to live in Scotland ,will ever make.
