GREY HERON (Ardea cinerea)

I had an early appointment at Broomfield hospital for another session of physiotherapy on my hand.
We then went to Hanningfield reservoir to see what birds were about. There were quite a few herons and I managed to blip this adult and juvenile. The light was very poor as it was overcast and quite misty. We stopped for lunch on the way home.

We collected Emma and David from the airport and I cooked a meal before they went home.
A very enjoyable day.
