Cassowary!!

After our wonderful fruit breakfast, it was now time to drive South instead of North, back to Cairns. We stopped at one of the boardwalks and when we drove further South we saw a cassowary! Yay very happy about it! We heard about a lot of other people that they had seen one already, so we were very exciting to see one too.

Such beautiful creatures! Especially with the blue! They're also dangerous and agressive though. Strangely enough we saw some people out of their car, probably because they wanted to take a better picture....

In Cairns we returned our van and walked back to our hostel. In the evening we explored the night markets, which weren't that big but it was nice to go there anyway. :)
