The Anniversary Waltz

Well, I committed a terrible faux pas today. I woke early, as I normally do, and came downstairs for my first solitary cup of coffee of the day. I left husband sleeping peacefully upstairs. When I walked into the kitchen I screamed. Because there on the unit was a card and a beautifully wrapped present. I realised then that it was 4th September - our anniversary and I hadn't even bought a card let alone a present. My excuse was that with the house move, the renovations and the fact that I haven't been very busy work wise the days have just slipped by. Oh dear I felt soo guilty all day and it has to be said that husband has started to milk it a bit.
