Ripples, Lilies, Clouds

We had a walk on Ham Hill this morning then stopped at Montacute House for lunch and a stroll round the gardens. This lily is in the ornamental pond and fountain in the formal garden.

There was a wedding taking place in the house and I almost blipped the Silver Cloud Rolls Royce that the bride had travelled in, parked at the end of the drive.

According to a sheet of information on the car, it had originally been a State car in Kenya, used to transport the then Princess Elizabeth during her visit to Kenya, during which her father died and she succeeded to the throne.
