Red Arrows fly - past
Today is the last day of the Nato Summit in Newport and after all the hype of all the disruption it would cause it seems to have slipped by virtually unnoticed. Yes there has been a few road closures, massive police presence and more helicopters in our skies than we have ever seen before but i don't think it has bothered anyone. If anything it has brought the people of Newport closer together feeling proud of what we have hosted. The only thing we we want to stress to all who do not know the area is, The Celtic Manor is in Newport, not Cardiff, its all ours. Also to all the Blippers across the water who are not aware, Wales is not in England, we are a country and a very proud country.
This morning saw Nato showing off their current planes in a fly past over Cardiff and finishing up flying over the Celtic Manor in Newport. For me, the best bit was seeing the Red Arrows bringing up the rear with the coloured smoke streaming from their tails, what a great finish.
