NY's Department of Conservation is trying to introduce a plan to get rid of all the white mute swans by 2025 as they can be aggressive and disruptive to the native wildlife and vegetation. Battle lines are drawn and negotiations continue on methodology.

At least this family is safe for now and enjoying some sunshine in Prospect Park.
