Dawn At The Feeder

My first photo with my new lens. I invested in a factory reconditioned Canon 100-400mm. It's a push-pull, so it's going to take some getting use to. It also doesn't have a pan lock for the tripod so I may have to use a remote.

I despise remotes because I love the feel of the camera in my hands and the joy of squeezing the shutter at just the right moment as I look through that small view finder! But the more things change...the more you have to keep up!!!! (I just created that saying, just for you!)
