The Benedum in downtown Pittsburgh, home of the Pittsburgh Opera, opened originally in 1927 as the Stanley Theatre, the first theater in the world "devoted exclusively to exhibition of moving picture spectacles." Renovated and reopened in 1987 the Benedum retained the original Stanley illuminated signs.

Conveniently, it's also across the road from my bus stop, so it got blipped.
