Postcard to Mr Barking ~ Day #7

Dear Mr Barking

Your catch today looks impressive; a big improvement on yesterday! Looks like your cheap and trusty lures are starting to come into their own. The spring tides are on their way, which should bring the fish with them, I guess ...?

I've had a good day at school today. Feral class are still feral, but at least a few of them are starting to come around to my way of thinking. The Library has been great; I actually got to finish a book during one of the lesson - silent reading, you've got to love it!

Home for a quick run/walk with the dogs; I got attacked by another magpie! Grrrr! This little bird (no idea what sort it is) was much less aggressive as it posed amidst the blossom.

I'm going to pop over to MB's in a little bit to say hi to Miss MB and to give her some gifts from your folks and mine.

Then blissful quiet and peace! Home alone tonight with the two pooches. A bottle of wine and a tasty vege dinner planned for one. I wish you were here to share it with me, but as you're not, I'll just find another book to stick my nose into!
