2 Bee Or Not To Be?

The day started with some excitement...as our next door boat neighbors departed from the marina with only one engine, taking the boat to Anacortes for some engine repair work. So Bob helped out by using the dinghy to straighten out the boat as G backed it out of the slip. Our own little tugboat, ha!! "The Captain's Lady" called later in the day to let us know that they had successfully arrived at their destination, although the boatyard was still unable to hoist the boat out (would have loved to have seen that).

Then Bob and I did some errands, and took a trip around the island taking some new roads and discovering another new park. No whales today for me, which was a bit of a disappointment.

I did get up to the gardens where I got this photo of two bees in one shot...loved the dew on the flower and that beautiful purple blossom.

Tomorrow our friends from Portland arrive for the weekend...not sure where we are going yet, but am looking forward to seeing them and getting away from the marina again! Our last cruise of the season:)
