Sore feet

Sore feet after work, the left one in particular, were responsible for the fact that I didn't feel like walking far to look for a blip before heading home when I got off the bus and so I went to the edge of the water again where the council had cut back all the shrubs yesterday, hoping I would still be able to find a suitable subject, which I fortunately did in the form of some water striders.

When I looked up what these insects were called, I found that water striders is only one of many names, pond skaters being another.
