Waiting in anticipation

I managed to strike this miniature orchid recently from a single piece taken from an old established plant that seemed to have contracted a disease,
Imagine how pleased I was when a flower stem appeared so soon after the propagation.
Here shown is the start of what I hope will be an exquisite bloom.
