A dragged me to see a blues band last night even going as far as picking me up from my house to save me the short but cold walk into town and paying my cover. I think she could sense my reluctance and defeated my potential excuses before I could use them. It wan't so much the music but I'm just not that keen on the bar.

It turned out to be a brilliant night with some really stonking music and I'm so glad she made me go. This is A's friend, Charlie, who was giving it his all. I fell into a taxi sometime after midnight and felt rather worse for wear this morning.
