Let battle commence

Hubby and I attended a debate tonight on the referendum hosted by our local newspaper "The Buchanie", not because we needed information to make up our minds but to support our good friend Ann who was one of the Better Together panel. It was standing room only as 300 plus of the good folk of Peterhead and environs turned up to hear what each side had to say. It was clear from the start that virtually everyone attending was already committed to a side, with many more vocal and noisy "Yes" supporters and some quieter "Nos" It was well chaired, with quite a lot of good humoured banter from the panel and the floor. Great to see so many people engaged in the democratic process! Watch out for an 80+ percent turnout two weeks tonight!
