Simon's Guard Cow!

Up at 5.30am to drive to the Peaks to do a days tutorial with Simon Watkinson on Hyper Focal Distance! Beautiful drive up as the mist clears & the morning sun comes up. He lives in a remote farmhouse, guarded by cows who wouldn't move off the road to let me pass! Turns out I'm the only course member so it's private tuition for the day! Good in some ways but it's my birthday & something a bit more sociable would have been nice! The weather never clears but it doesn't stop me learning! Lots of chat about travel adventures & climbing until about 7.30pm. He's off to Burma in a few weeks time & Chris Facetimes when I'm there so they 'meet'.
