Loch Lochy

Gorgeous sunny day ..... again! First port of call this morning was at Loch Lochy as the water is often very still here. Sure enough, the waters were calm giving great reflections.

We then drove down to Mallaig - a port in Lochaber on the west coast of the Scottish Highlands. Mallaig is a fishing port founded in the 1840s. We wandered down to the harbour to get some photos of the fishing boats. On the way back to the car we stopped off at a little gallery/craft shop where both Matthew and I managed to purchase an essential piece of artwork. How we are going to transport them home is still pending!
Think Matthew might be getting the train!!! :)
