The Dorking Five Toed Cockerel

You never know what you may encounter on the search for a blip.

We are staying in Dorking tonight before delivering Stephen to Gatwick for an early flight tomorrow. This galvanised cockerel greeted us on the roundabout near the town centre.

Further research revealed that Dorking is noted for a special five toed chicken which has an extra toe compared to other breeds. As with many examples of public art the cockerel has divided opinion in the local area.
