It's what Princesses do you know

She went on a trip to the Palace with her Belgian studies class today. She desperately wanted to wear her bridesmaid dress as it was important that she looked the part (even though I told her it was a working palace and the royal family don't actually live there). I managed to talk her out of it but she insisted on wearing her plastic necklaces and bracelets and her tiara, just incase she saw the King and Queen and met some princesses.

Apparently they had a blast and she absolutely loved it and was full of stories about secret doors into the dining room that they had managed to find. I love love love how enthusiastic she is about everything and she didn't seem to care that no one else had made an effort to get dressed up or wear a tiara. In fact she told me quite matter of factly that 'a lot of the tourists were looking at me Mummy and smiling because I was wearing a tiara, I think.'
