Why is the popper arrangement slightly different on every single babygrow?

The ones down the front should be relatively easy, but once you get to the legs, all bets are off. Does that popper pop to the one opposite it, or the one upside down on the bum? Add in a wriggling and occasionally screaming small creature, and I end up with at least one to be unpopped and repopped every time.

The first person to supply babygrows with colour-coded matched poppers will make a fortune.
