Now that he is retired

My husband wont miss out on picking our granddaughter up from daycare. He will be here to help with making a snack, or getting warm compresses to put on her eyes which are afflicted with styes(evident in this photo)or maybe listen to a temper tantrum.

This photo was taken the day after Lexi's great aunt died from metastatic breast cancer. Her spirit is in this photo, you can see the quilt she made for Lexi. It dawned on me later that the colors of the quilt match the colors of the clothes Lexi is wearing and connected her to the woman who made this quilt.
