Frog Friend

I heard this little garden visitor plop in to the drain this afternoon, Mr J had to pick him out. Eddie was intrigued, shooting backwards every time it hopped, until he got braver and tried to touch it with his paw, at which point we rescued it again and put it out of reach.

It hasn't been the greatest start to the new term. Yesterday H had to arrive at school for 8.30, so we took B and met some friends for breakfast after we'd seen her off. He said he was feeling a bit sick as he left, and it was less than an hour before the phone call to collect him, he was looking a strange colour. H had really enjoyed her first day, but then developed a headache and also started feeling sick last night, so they've both been home today. Hoping for a better day all round tomorrow.
