Spaghetti in the sand

A slowish start to the day and a wander up the hill with the woofers, and the midges. Orkney has been warm(ish) and humid of late and the normally ever present wind has deserted us, leaving us with swarms of ravenous teeth with wings. They are even annoying the dogs.
After wandering for a little while, my beautiful girl and I zoomed into town and picked up a few things.
Home and then off to Waulkmill bay again. The huge beach was deserted and the tide was coming in fairly rapidly. The dogs scampered on the sand whilst I snapped these squiggles of sand which covered the beach.
Another fabulous day with my girl, despite the best efforts of the midges...
