I spent the morning stapling lengths of fencing wire to the treads of one of the boardwalks in the Linda Vista Gardens, because they get very slippery in wet and icy weather. It's not very exciting to look at, so I've gratuitously added a shot of one of the wildflower beds which is having a second flush of blooms. This is a bed that in previous years was planted up with bedding plants, which Monmouthshire County Council can no longer afford.
