Chez Raymond

Tony had a nasty fall on Saturday, while he was up in London leading a guided walk for the Ramblers Association round various locations connected with Charles Dickens. Fortunately he wasn't seriously hurt, although he has a bruise on his forehead and an impressive black eye. But he was obviously shaken by it and, as often happens, he experienced a delayed reaction to the shock.

So as a treat today, we went for lunch at Brasserie Blanc in Beaconsfield. Tony had his head buried in the menu when I took the photo, so the damage isn't evident - and a good meal and a glass of wine helped greatly to restore him!
