Curate in charge

This is the newest curate in charge in the diocese of Melbourne. He was commissioned this evening. I knew him slightly at theological college, and I pay and hope that he will go well in this new ministry. It has been a big week for him. Being ordained priest last Saturday and celebrating his birthday today.
One wit quipped that most folk just get a cake on their birthday, not a kirk!
