We have hatched!!

The swan I blipped here, has hatched her eggs. There are two cygnets with one pair, and four with another. There are a couple more nests still being sat upon.

According to a woman who stopped to chat, as you do, there were nine cygnets hatch but it looks as though at least three have disappeared :(

I apologise for the awful image but they were so far away and it is so grey and dark outside this afternoon!

I will keep an eye on the other nests - which are almost submerged after our heavy rains last week.
