More of the garden...

...a tree of two that 'weep' in the front corner of the garden and truly, seem such a perfect accompaniment to the powerful appearance of the deep red rose alongside them. I blipped the red rose a couple of days ago. In this corner I love that the combination of the two native trees - perhaps willow myrtles - and the introduced red rose create a heart uplifting moment so beautiful are they together. For now in the afternoon sun the leaves that 'weep' glisten green and gold and 'steal' the light and attention. A breeze is swaying their drooping boughs so different leaves glisten and sparkle. The grey-black colour of the main trunks of these trees reminds me of ironstone, the patterned bark appears grooved as if scraped to appear so, sculpted by wind and rain like rock.
