The Fryer's

In honor of their last night in Phoenix, we took James' parents to Gertrude's restaurant at the Desert Botanical Garden for dinner tonight. The garden is such a beautiful Oasis. It even smells good as you walk over the entrance bridge. The dinner was very nice, with the exception of some pesky flies. My stomach felt better every hour starting this morning. So I was able to eat and enjoy, finishing it off with a little Gelato. Bob enjoyed the first course of cheese, an entrée of macaroni and cheese, and a dessert or ricotta donut holes!

James' parents canceled their trip to Sedona because of my illness. Instead, they braved the Phoenix heat to hang out with James and Bob. Hopefully we will get to Sedona again soon. They were very sweet to still come to Arizona considering the circumstances.
