YIKES!

This wasp nest is being built under the eaves at the front of our garage. I climbed an 7 ft. ladder today so I could blip it before it’s destroyed. They seemed to be busier inside, so I tapped on the house siding to see if I could get a little activity. Suddenly they started to crawl out of the woodwork (upper right) and across their hive to see who was causing the disturbance. Believe me, I snapped a couple quick shots and got out of there! These are probably paper wasps which aren’t very aggressive, but since my husband’s uncle died after being stung by two wasps, we definitely will be getting rid of this little conclave.
