Substandard blip but haven't had any time to take much else and have been to busy enjoying working , baking and going to book club

Book club was reviewing High Rise by JG Ballard. My review was " irritating and intriguing in equal measure " , turns out I wasn't the only one that thought a dystopia filled with cannibalism , rape and murder lacked a little human warmth and compassion .

Next month's is Goldfinch by Donna Tartt , it's about 800000000 pages long. I expect I will need to ban the internet and TV completely for the next month to read this !
