There was a fin d'ete feel to the promenade this evening. The warm air was trapped below the blanket of cloud that has lingered here all day.

There was insufficient breeze to enable these sailors to experience a proper sailing experience but a good one in which to learn the ropes.

We can all be good sailors, as the saying goes. in calm weather. The test of real skills only come when faced with a storm.

I had a strong feeling this evening, on The Promenade, that there is a perfect storm brewing for everyone in our British Isles, whatever the result of The Referendum two weeks tomorrow.
