Classic Istanbul

Day one of Turkey Trot 2014. Uneventful as long as you discount two slightly hairy landings, LHR &IST, plus a wild takeoff from London. Boeing 767 characteristics?????
Minibus to our hotel, which is close to Sultanahmet, all went smoothly.
Ventured out to find an Efes vendor - succeeded, and dined on some veggie mezze. So, have already broken my vows of restraint foodwise, considering consumption of three breakfasts, two lunches and several G&TS not to mention the Efes (plural). Still, I can walk it off tomorrow.
