First

Yesterday when I cycled into work there was a heron sitting on this buoy, which there often is, but today this cormorant was there. Happy preening and quite smug that he had beaten the heron. I smiled when I cycled home and he was still there!!

First day back with all the kids and my new teacher. We have a lovely class of kids and I am looking forward to working with them. I was trying to get one little boy to write 'think' not 'fink'. We had quite a discussion about this, but came to the agreement that it began with a th. I left him to finish writing 'think'. When I came back he had written 'thick'! I had to walk a way. He changed it and I made sure it was spelt correctly. One of my funny moments today.
