Peace and calm

I went down to the shore this evening. The tide was in and it was lovely and warm and beautifully peaceful and calm. There were children fishing and jumping into the harbour and I saw someone I know with her daughter, sitting enjoying some chips.

I don't think we'll get many more evenings like this this year.

I loved the light, both in the sky and on the water in this shot, as well as the tranquillity and calmness.
