Sage leafhoppers

Back to bodypump after a two week gap - I'm sure that the weights were heavier this morning.

Had a tour round the garden looking for a blip and spotted these tiny leafhoppers on my variegated sage plant. They are surprisingly colourful and pattered when you view them close up.

When trying to find out what they were, I googled leafhoppers and sage and found them almost immediately - very common and found on sage everywhere. The latin name is Eupteryx melissae.

Watched some of the premiership football matches as we have a family fantasy football league this year. Had a cooking blitz and made two shepherdess pies and some butternut squash dhal for the freezer.

Nice to have a lazy day.
