Lizzie B

After a thrilling (no really) morning I walked into town at lunchtime. I did some shopping, bought lunch and was walking back to the office, with only a poor blip in the bag when I bumped into Lizzie. What a lovely surprise, we've known Lizzie for years but hardly ever see her any more for no other reason than we are all busy. Anyway it was really good to see her, meet her little twin girls and catch up. Hopefully, by the power of social media we might actually arrange to see her a bit more frequently.

Back tracking a bit, band practise was good last night. The electronic kit really helps with volume management, the mix is not good enough yet but we will get there. Playing through the old set list was good and we were pretty tight considering we have not played properly for a month. I also think all of the new songs are going to work as well. Hooray! The next challenge will be that we are quite big (lots of kit) and the space in the pub is not very big... hmmmm
