Shop and chat

I met up with my sister-in-law today at McArthur Glen Shopping Outlet which is more or less half way between where we live.

We don't do this anywhere near often enough. We both get swept up in our busy lives - but I suppose we enjoy it all the more when it happens.

Thornton's café for a coffee. Then a look round some of the shops before returning to the café for a sandwich (a wicked cake - can recommend their chocolate fudge cake which is one of the naughtiest and nicest I've ever had) - and more chat.

We did buy some stuff - but not a lot.

It was just so nice to see her and to catch up.

And the blip ? A quick wander round the garden when I got home.
