Baby Shower!

Dan & I had our baby shower the other day! we were able to see dan's family who doesn't live in town. & we were able to celebrate with everyone whose important to us

we received a lot of amazing gifts. including a carseat & stroller, a swing, a bouncey chair, a playpen, a nursing pillow, & plenty of odds & ends (thermometer, diapers, wipes, soothers, bottles)

i waited a long time to have this baby. so has Dan i suppose :)
we're both so lucky and happy to have such a great support system around us for this next step in life. Dan was very happy to feel the love and support from both of our families, as was I.

It was like the hottest day this summer, and everyone was a good sport about it. my sister hosted (poor woman, she always hosts!) dan & I made some food stuffs, so did everyone else.

we were so excited to have this baby shower & now we're excited for this baby! only a couple weeks left to go, I"m due on the 18th, so we'll see how accurate that turns out to be!

over the next couple weeks we have some other stuff going on, my father wasn't able to make it to my shower. because his new wife has health problems that limit her mobility, so we will be going to visit him with Dan's long 4-days off, coming up this weekend. we're also hoping to visit Dan's grandparents, who also couldn't make it due to health concerns. Then Dan will be back to work, and then it will be the weekend again & it will Dan's 25th birthday!

hmm.. i have no present for him :( i'll have to make something...

and after his birthday, i will be due in 5 days! so we have a lot going on over the course of the next couple weeks AND THEN THERE WILL BE A BABY.

baby boy, or a baby girl. :D we're soooo excited to find out
