Residential Gateways #1

Drove past this gateway today, which has always appealed to me.

Got me thinking that while driving around the Greater Johannesburg area, there is a wealth of material to be had on this subject to blip endlessly on a daily basis. I certainly have no intention of going that route, but will consider a regular series.

From the plain, basic and practical, to those that are more ornate, and some instances totally over the top.

So here goes, with #1, situated in Wrenrose Road, in the suburb of Birdhaven.
