Wondering woods

My last blip was taken on a bad day. I found out my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Luckily, it's early stage and he has a good prognosis, but it's still a very nasty shock. I'm glad he and my step-mum are such a good team together.

I've been a bit up and down since then. Mostly I've concentrated on sorting out my new home, which is really lovely. It's a beautiful area that we've moved to. This shot was taken on my new walk to work. The ground around these trees sounds hollow and I like to imagine catacombs below, populated by fairies and elves. I've always been a bit fanciful.
