Hydro Majestic

Followers of Blackheath Blippers will be familiar with the ongoing progress of the restoration of the Hydro Majestic Hotel at the nearby village of Medlow Bath.

One of my favourite features is this old wall. It always looks the same and hopefully they aren't going to change it. This photo doesn't really do it justice. I'll try again sometime - maybe from inside and with a wide angle lens. It will also look better when the rose garden is fully established. LARGE view.

PS. My husband has just informed me that there used to be 2 hotels here. One was the "Belgravia" which burnt down in the 1920s. This wall was part of it.
