Nature and wildlife

The birds have been in a feeding frenzy all day today even with the heavy rain that we are having. I wonder if they are getting ready for an early migration or what? This included stellar jays, grosbeaks, finches, chickadees, flickers, and the squirrels on the ground eating what the birds dropped.
Our Pacific northwest weather is supposed to improve for a few days, then drop back into the low 60's. Fall is around the corner.
