Yarn bomb

Someone has been busy! I don't know when this appeared but the handrail in our town square has been yarn bombed. That's a lot of wool!

It's been quiet here after the early morning departure of our little girl. We looked in on our neighbour's cats and watered the plants in the greenhouse. The rain took care of the rest of the watering.

I also popped over to our other neighbour for some chicken manure. Our compost is doing well!

We went into town for some errands. It was quite busy as it's the Tuesday farmers market. The line ups in the post office and bank were so long that I didn't bother. I can wait for another day. Instead we popped into the photographic show which had some interesting work.

It's definitely a day that gets you thinking of the end of summer and getting ready for the cold and wet. Having said that there were a lot of people still in sandals and shorts.
