Things can change...they often do

Miniman had a visit this morning from his new teacher. She and her colleague came round to our house. They brought him a new school bag with some pencils & the books here. Some of them are more for me than for him. They tell me how I should read to him, count with him, sing songs with him, make learning fun it seems. I do hope they can do the same for him. I've spent the last four years, three hundred and fourteen days trying my best to help him learn about stuff. I had to produce his birth certificate for them to check and provide details of family and contact numbers while they checked to see that all was well in his little world.

We spent our last Tuesday play day together today before he heads off into the education system. We had a good luck at school card from his little friends who we've spent many of the past Tuesdays with. They still have time to play. His time to start learning in a new environment is drawing nearer.
